Hi VC, thanks for the feedback. I built this theme so long ago I had actually forgotten about the thread here. If I did it again today I WOULD NOT use pods. Not because pods isn't a swell program, but because it is definitely overkill. Morevover, as pods develops the code changes which means I have to update the theme, not just when WP upgrades, but also when PODs does.

Also, pods is overkill for something as simple as a video gallery, especially now that wordpress provides the custom post type functionality in 3.0.

OK, I have to say over all it's a great theme, but…

I get the point of PODS and I think it's kind of neat but in this case I think trying to incorporate it is a bit ridiculous. I've tinkered around with your theme a few times trying to set up an easy to use site for an actress friend of mine and I have to say I am absolutely baffled by the addition of PODS. If I'm baffled by it, it will absolutely drive her mad with rage. And I'm sorry to say but, I don't seem to be the only person that is perplexed with the PODS use.

Fortunately, you have made it completely optional which I think is the most awesome part. If you don't like it, don't use it. Modular coding is great and I thank you for showing me that PODS is there but not shoving it down my throat.

Hi! I can't get the Video Gallery tab to work. When I go to my website I get a message and a link to the parent directory. I have the videos and plug-in options on my wordpress dashboard and I am able to upload the links, but nothing happens. Creating a page just makes another option in my websites navigation bar and then I have to delete the old one. I am new to all of this, so I am still learning. What do I do? Also, how do I upload videos and embed them in the theme without a link to another website? Thanks!

@David I believe that error is a result of not running PHP5. You might want to check on that to ensure you're nort running PHP4.

yeah having pods cms problems. It gives me this error message when trying to activate it:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_split() in /blog/wp-content/plugins/pods/init.php on line 27

I love this theme and am trying to get the hang of it. I don't get how to use the video gallery. It looks like there's a page created because there is the link for "Video Gallery" but I don't know how to access it. I'm guess it's the pods thing, but I can't seem to get that to activate. And I went into the folder to try and look for the "pod-package.txt" file but it doesn't exist.

I created another page and named it "Video" but what do I do with Video Gallery?

Can i use dropdown menus..
i use the parent but the menus are not dropping down.
